The first half could be said as of ‘Suspense‘ genre and let the second half genre remain mystery to you ,because if I tell you now, it would ruin the essence of the film. As a believer, the movie provided a platform for wonderful dialogue about the sovereignity of God and the concepts of predetermination, destiny and purpose. Loaded with Navy personnel and their families, the ferry explodes in a massive fireball, killing most of the men, women and children onboard. Then colleague Pryzwarra (Kilmer) reveals a secret time machine. In New Orleans, ATF agent Doug Carlin is called in to investigate a terrorist attack on a crowded ferry. Genre : The film has two kinds of genre, the first half of one kind and the second half of the other. After a ferry is bombed, government investigator Doug Carlin (Washington) takes on the case. Overview : The start of movie is quiet boring and you might want to switch it off but believe me it’ll get much interesting towards the second half ,also, the same background music keps playing again and again which might get a bit irritating but this music adds up the suspense towards the second half.Basically,the second half of the movie is much interesting than the first half.
